报告人简介：Serge Bouc是著名的有限群抽象表示论专家。他博士毕业于法国巴黎第七大学，师从著名群表示论专家、代数杂志主编 Michel Broue，他现为法国国家自然科学中心研究员。 在一系列的工作中，他与Jon Carlson、Jacques Thevenaz合作分类了p群上的endo-permutation模，这是二十一世纪前十年有限群抽象表示论领域的重大成就之一，他们的文章发表在Ann. Math.,Inv.Math.等国际第一流杂志上。这一工作中的一个核心要素是Bouc定义并发展的Biset functors理论。
报告内容简介：Starting with induction and restriction of ordinary characters of finite groups, the notion of Mackey functors will be introduced. Including the operations of inflation and deflation will lead to the notion of biset functor. Basic properties of these objects will be described.
